That said, it is definitely not a flawless game. At least there are no Gray Fox conversation loops to get stuck in this time. The environments, Bethesda's trademark, are beautiful, the dungeons are well-designed, and the voice acting, while not amazing, is better than its predecessor. Sure, like everyone else, I sunk about 50 hours into the thing, but then just left it, telling myself "it's not as good as Oblivion." Oblivion still holds a special place in my heart, but Skyrim is worthy in its own right.
For years after its release, I actually didn't like it very much. You know, I think I was wrong about Skyrim.
